Prepared similarly to rolled oats, quick rolled oats (sometimes called instant oats) are simply cut finer and rolled thinner, resulting in a cooking time of just two to three minutes. They are commonly found in pouches with seasonings and sweeteners for a quick, nutritious breakfast. Quick rolled oats are also used in breads, bars, and granola.
